Amit Lohia, W’95
Group Managing Director, Indorama Corporation
A citizen of India, Mr. Amit Lohia obtained his bachelor’s in Finance from the Wharton School in 1995. Subsequently he joined Indorama at their corporate office in Jakarta in 1996. Since then, he has executed several greenfield projects and acquisitions for Indorama at various locations. He is currently the Managing Director of Indorama Corporation, which is the principal holding company of the family in Singapore. Mr. Lohia serves on the board of various affiliated companies including Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, the largest producer of polyester in the world, which is a public listed company on the Thailand Stock Exchange. He also pursues philanthropic activities through the Lohia Foundation and serves on the Executive Board for Asia at the Wharton School. He resides in Singapore along with his wife and two children.
